COVID - 19 Baggage Policy Updation
Large handbags will not be permitted on board, only essential items will be allowed such as laptops and ladies handbag. Customers can carry only 1 (one) check-in baggage, irrespective of the fare family booked by them.
Customers would be required to place the check-in baggage on the belt themselves to avoid contact and make a note of the baggage identification number for future reference.
Baggage that exceeds the size and specifications of cabin baggage, will need to be checked-in. The maximum weight permissible for a single piece of baggage is 32 kg across all cabin classes. Below are the allowances for free baggage as per cabin class:

Vistara and an interline/Codeshare partner/other airlines:
- If the connection to/from an international flight on one single document/ticket
- If the connection to/from an international flight on two separate tickets within 24 hours of the Vistara flight
- If the connection to/from an international flight on separate document/ticket for more than 24 hours of the Vistara flight
Passengers travelling on Vistara in Business Class on any paid fare will be permitted two check-in bags of up to 32kg each.
Passengers travelling Vistara in Premium Economy on any paid fare will be permitted two check-in bags of up to 23kg each.
Passengers travelling Vistara in Economy Class on Standard or Flexi fares will be permitted check-in baggage allowance of the 23kg total. If a passenger has booked an Economy Lite fare, the baggage allowance will be 15 kg, 1 pc only.

This can be done at any time, without prior notice.

Flight cancellations are frequently noted all around the world and it’s happening more often since the global air traffic is increasing. Burden of such cancellations is bore by the passengers who are forced to book another flight by paying extra from their pockets.
Air travel services in India are slated for a significant increment in terms of volume of passenger traffic. The government through the Director General of Civil Aviation (“DGCA”) had, in the past, introduced certain mandatory requirements to ensure that passengers who are either denied boarding or whose flights have been delayed or cancelled, are provided with certain facilities in order to compensate for any deficiency in service. These civil aviation requirements have been amended, effective August 1, 2016 (“CAR”), wherein the compensation for such deficiencies have been enhanced.
