"Airport is clean" The airport is clean and sparkling but what really matters is time. Inbound - it took the airport 45 minutes to deliver the checked luggage to the belt and the excuse given was insufficient number of luggage handlers. Outbound - only one person at immigration and plane was delayed because luggage wasn't loaded due to handler shortage. What a shame ...!! Once upon a time this was a superb super efficient and very fast airport. This is has clearly gone.

"many shops and food courts" Obviously, It is one of the best airports in Germany, as it is very clean and clear inside. Many shops and food courts with friendly staff are available but food is quite expensive. The wifi is very slow and you also have to charge for it after one hour of using. Getting your baggage can take you much time. Sometimes there are not enough seats in the waiting area but they’re also not often overcrowded. But it is still very modern, it has a good size and you can fly to enough destinations from this airport.

"Weak point was security" Modern spacious terminal with automated boarding pass / baggage labelling etc. Weak point was security. The check in queue was enormous and slow-moving, and not all the scanning stations were open. Problem compounded by only one people scanner shared between adjacent baggage scanning lines. There is no provision downstream of checkpoint to sit down / have a place to get items back together again.

"modern and spacious" Very modern and spacious airport with a wide variety of shops. Good check-in options, but often very long security check queues even in the Fast Track since the airport has centralized the security check.
