The new airport in Istanbul is massive and well built. At midnight, it's crazy. Shopping and dinner are enough to pick from. Many safety check counters are available for transit relative to the old terminal, and the line is shorter. The signs are obvious. Nevertheless, some airport employees are ill and pay no heed to inquiries from travelers.

I came from Milan Airport in February 2020 to Istanbul Airport. We took at least 20 minutes driving and 10 minutes to get out of the plane. Then we had to walk 20minutes to the passport control for international arrivals. There were ample signs to get to us, but sadly the airport looks tidy and safe other than gigantic (because it has been built again). All workers were polite and safe.

It was a key one where you could conveniently fly via the subway and the bus, and we still miss Airport. However, this individual is too big and is far away from the city centre, you have to drive nearly 2 hours to the airport on the Anatolian side! So many kilometers you have to walk down. It's all right, if it was a shopping centre, but you ought to use it for an airport! It loses time and fatigues.

This is an horrible airport. Too big and managed badly. I just had a 1-hour switch because of the prior wait in the plane. I just did it. I've been running all the way around. The staff at the airport, some of them rude, are completely helpless. The short point of contact that would help in this case has been locked. Really stressful, especially because this airport does not care about anybody.
