"Pleasant Experience" I'm writing the pros and cons: Pros: This is one of the better airports I've visited. My experience here was really pleasant . Getting to the airport and navigating around the airport is very easy with how well everything is sign posted and laid out. The airport is very clean, airy, and modern. We especially loved the waiting lounge with the most comfortable chairs. Getting through security was quick and easy and staff members are very friendly. Cons: The toilets were generally modern but not very clean. I didn't see any cleaning staff so every toilet cubical was dirty and messy. It would also be nice to see free water filling stations, once you're past security the only water you can find is expensive €3.50 500ml bottles from the fancy cafes and restaurants.

"Best experience ever" I've only flown INTO this airport, never OUT of this airport, so I'm basing my review on my arrival experience. It was one of the best I've ever had in the entire world! The airport is small and was very quiet. The arrival process couldn't have been easier! It took about 10 minutes from the time our flight landed to the point where we collected our luggage. There's about a 10 minute walk from the airport to the water taxi stations, so be prepared for that. It's flat but still not fun if you have lots of luggage.

"Passport Control experience itself was terrible" When arriving at the airport, heading through to Passport Control was easy, but the Passport Control experience itself was terrible. Those who tried to use the e-Gates and could not get through pushed into the 'Other Passports' queue and the airport staff did not care. Also, even though nearly the whole room for Passport Control was full, they only had three desks open and there were more than three members of staff that were capable of checking passports, meaning they could have opened more desks. After Passport Control, though, the process was more or less seamless. When departing from the airport, the self check-in machines didn't even let me print off a luggage tag for the Bag Drop and I had to wait for a member of staff to man the desk. Overall experience at this airport was not great.

"Very poor advert for Venice" Chaotic airport on check- in and on attempting to get through passport control. Queuing everywhere and no apparent order of getting people through Passport Control in good time for their flights. Had to queue for 40 minutes being funnelled through narrow passage between shops, and very nearly missed our flight, though in queue in very good time. Very poor advert for Venice and left bad taste in mouth after very good weekend break.
